Keren, 01 March 2026 – Seminars focusing on strengthening the capacity of students were conducted at eleven junior and secondary schools in the Keren sub-zone on 24 and 25 February.
The seminars also focused on the importance of education, causes of school dropouts, lack of discipline and improper management, time management, as well as peer pressure and the improper use of technological devices.
Mr. Rezene Araya, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on students to give due attention to their education, become competitive, preserve noble societal values, and increase their participation in community affairs.
Noting that students’ success depends on strong parental follow-up, Mr. Bekit Gubtan from the Keren sub-zone called for strengthening tripartite relations.
