Asmara, 10 November 2025 – The Education Office in the Massawa sub-zone, in collaboration with the Massawa Municipality, has recognized 31 outstanding students who achieved high scores in the 2024/2025 school leaving and eighth-grade national examinations.
At the ceremony held on 8 November, Mr. Ismail Saleh, Head of the Education Office in the sub-zone, said that the awardees were those who scored between 3.0 and 4.0 GPA in the national school leaving examination and above 90 points in the eighth-grade national examination.
Commending the students’ achievements as the result of their effort and the support of their parents and teachers, Mr. Haile Asfaha, Administrator of the port city of Massawa, encouraged the awardees to continue striving for academic excellence.
Similarly, Natsinet Junior School in Asmara recognized 34 outstanding students who scored above 90 points in the eighth-grade national examination.
