Mendefera, 26 December – A seven-kilometer new dirt road connecting Halhale with Emni-Tselim in Dubarwa sub-zone has been constructed by the Adi-Halo No. 6 Project.
The construction of the road began in July and includes water diversion structures and one bridge.
According to the committee overseeing the construction process, the road will have significant contribution in facilitating the daily activities of residents in the area as well as in the transportation of their agricultural products to nearby markets.
Mr. Tedros Gebreyesus, head of the Adi-Halo No. 6 Project, commending the support and encouragement received from residents, urged for sustainable follow-up to ensure the durability of the road.
Mr. Frewengel Teklehaimanot, administrator of Dubarwa sub-zone, said that the road will serve a number of villages and will play a significant role in the overall development of the area and the living conditions of residents.
Emni-Tselim is located 10 km southwest of Dubarwa town.
