Mr. Rezene Habte  develops Fundamental Political Differences with Berhane Hanjema's ERDF; declines leadership position.
Unconfirmed reports coming from Addis and Washington DC indicate that Mr. Rezene Habte, the former Chair of North America ENA and former member of the ERDF leadership council, is reported  to have developed  fundamental political differences with his organization during the last congress of the organization and has not accepted its  current political program . Mr. Habte,  who,  as  member of the Voice of Eritrean People  Washington DC Radio Program is heard broadcasting on Saturdays,  is reported to have been dismayed by what he saw and witnessed in his travel to Ethiopia and what he experienced at the congress of his organization.  The congress of the organization  was held last month in Ethiopia. The sources declined to comment on what might have caused such political parting but added that he might either issue a statement or might discuss the issue in an  interview to be conducted soon. It is not clear whether he is still a member of the organization or if his organization still considers him a member of the organization.  Mr. Habte was contacted by meskerem but  declined to comment.
