Seattle Hosts Two Demonstrations፡
one opposing occupation the other calling for occupation

One that Opposes Ethiopia's Invasion of Somalia and the Other that Encourages Ethiopian Invasion and Subsequent Occupation of Eritrea

In Seattle, "Ethiopia's Illegal Invasion in Somalia Peaceful March"

More than 500 people are expected to gather in Occidental Square, then march to the Jackson Federal Building Friday afternoon to bring attention to Ethiopia's invasion of Somalia a year ago.

Ethiopian troops, with the United States' backing, marched into Mogadishu last December with a peacekeeping mission to support Somalia's fragile new government. But fighting between joint Ethiopian and Somalian forces and a fierce insurgency has created what the United Nations is calling one of Africa's worst humanitarian crises.

A group of Eritreans staged a demonstration opposing the meeting of Eritreans gathered to show solidarity and support of  the Eritrean Defense Forces in defending the sovereignty of the Eritrean nation against Ethiopia's declared intent of invasion and occupation of Eritrea.

The group is associated with the organization that has called for the listing of the nation of Eritrea as a "terrorist " state so that Ethiopia can get a pretext ala Somalia to invade and occupy Ethiopia.

(Many in the opposition are frowning at this group's report invoking the name of an Eritrean nationalist for counter-nationalist agenda.)
